With the onset of winter and with the first cold snap the production of fruit and vegetables get relocated to areas with a temperate climate: from Central Europe to Southern Europe on the peninsula Italy. From Sicily, Puglia, Campania and Lazio we load our full assortment of vegetables. Cauliflower, Kohlrabi, Radish, Fennel … Products.

Food scandals in recent years are driving the increase in popularity of organic products. Greater availability and higher sales of organic food have come from greater awareness of the environment and nutrition. The Business faces very stringent quality requirements and legislation. To be organic, products must have been grown in strict compliance with legislation. EUR Regulation 2092/91 has certainly done its bit towards setting down the minimum requirements for organic produce. Consumers are better informed thanks to the introduction of the organic label which is only ever applied to truly organic produce. This strict requirement is the only way to increase consumer confidence and product credibility, thus ensuring long-term success.
At present we supply only limited numbers of organic products. In the first few years after conversion to organic farming, products must initially be sold as conventional produce. Only in following years can crops grown on farms converting to organic agriculture be labelled organic and sold as such. Indeed, conversion from conventional to organic farming takes a good 3 to 5 years, irrespective of any additional difficulties.
