European regulation

To be organic, products must have been grown in strict compliance with legislation. EUR Regulation 2092/91 has certainly done its bit towards setting down the minimum requirements for organic produce. Consumers are better informed thanks to the introduction of the organic label which is only ever applied to truly organic produce. This strict requirement is the only way to increase consumer confidence and product credibility, thus ensuring long-term success.
